Social Shift emerged from concerns about the decline of real human connections in the digital age. Our founders noticed two major issues: the rise of AI-generated content dominating online spaces and the widespread habit of doom scrolling through superficial feeds.
As algorithms and bots replaced human interaction, social media lost its original promise. People were engaging more with non-human entities than with each other, leading to loneliness, anxiety, and disconnection.
To restore authenticity, we created Peek, a platform focused on meaningful human connections. After extensive development and feedback, Peek now reflects our vision of fostering vibrant, real-life communities. Join us in reclaiming the human side of social interaction.
